My family and I now live in Aruba and we are transferring to Myrtle Beach. We have never been there before and are hoping to find a good area. We have 3 children and also need some good info on the schools. We love to enjoy the fun activities that a place like this has to offer, but also don't want to live in the middle of it all either. I have heard traffic is scary there too, so any tips on that would be great. I am willing to take any info and suggestions. Thanks a bunch!I would probably say Carolina Forest is the most popular place in MB for families. It's in a convienent location and the schools have a good reputation. There are lots of stores and restaurants yet it's not in the middle of the tourist attractions. Within 15 minutes of the beach and the neighborhoods all have pool clubs and recreation. As far as traffic, well it is a tourist area but I find most of the year it's not bad at all. If you have other questions maybe I can help.
